What I Love

I currently own two different colors of the Brandy Melville Layla hoodie. I have the camel colored taupe(ish) one and the black. They are my favorite things to wear. They're super soft and comfy. I wore my black one a week ago with dark wash skinny jeans and got loads of compliments, one person saying "You always look effortlessly perfect, even in a sweatshirt". I honestly about broke out in tears. BEST COMPLIMENT EVER. This ombre blue style is new for spring and available on the Brandy Melville website and has been at the top of my wish list. Hopefully it will join the family soon.  (photo source: brandymelville.com)

I received my Longchamp Le Pliage Tote in Large Gunmetal back in May as a high school graduation present from my parents and have been in love ever since. It was my first designer bag and has been a staple to my wardrobe everyday since getting it. Initially I couldn't decide between the navy blue or black and decided on gunmetal which appeared to be the best of the two. Overall, my favorite thing about this bag is the fact you could probably drag it through the mud and it would still clean up beautifully. Second, I love the way it hangs on your shoulder. It always has such an effortlessly stylish look which, of course, I'm all about. It's one of those bags that looks equally as good stuffed to the brim as it does with just your wallet in it. I use it for school and for toting my laptop and books around campus but I've also used it as a travel bag and purse. I can't write a review on this, however, without talking about the one little issue I had. After about 8 months of purchasing the bag (using it consistently for about 5 months), I noticed that the side seam had a small hole it it. I assume this hole was either from a pencil or pen poking its way through the seam too many times or me simply overloading the bag with too many books and stuff. I talked to someone at Nordstrom who was so kind and exchanged my bag for a completely new one. I cannot express how much I absolutely love Nordstrom and their customer service. All in all, I cannot recommend this beautiful bag enough and any color you get is classic and amazing. (photo source: Nordstrom.com)

These flats by Lucky Brand are my absolute favorite! They're the Emmie Flat and they come in a variety of colors. They're the softest leather ever and if you get them in nude, like I did, you can literally wear them with anything. I love a good nude shoe and these look classic dressed up or down. For a leather as high quality as this, the $60 price tag is hard to beat. I've owned two pairs of these Emmie flats and have loved both. The first pair I had, I actually found at TJ Maxx for $30. I about wore those to death but still wear them when I'm wanting to wear flats but will be doing a lot of walking and don't want to run the risk of damaging my newer ones. If you're looking for a no fuss, comfortable flat to wear with anything and everything, these are perfect for you! (photo source: luckybrand.com)

If a pair of pants could positively impact my life, it would be the amazing J. Crew Pixie Pants.  They are a fabulous combination of skinny pants, leggings, and slacks. They comfortable and come in long sizes which for us taller girls, is to die for. I have the pair in black but I believe the ones pictured are the grey color that J. Crew carries. These retail for around $98 but I think I got mine for around $60 with the use of a sale going on at the time and my college student discount. These pants keep you sucked in and crisp for the whole day. I wear them just about every pin attire day we have for my sorority and they're perfect for any business casual event or everyday. I wear them with flats, riding boots, even my Tretorn rainboots if it's raining. They're dry clean only but I can get a good 3-5 wears out of them before they need to hit the cleaners. They don't attract too much lint and go with everything.
